Thoughts of Travel

As I sit here and think about our up and coming travels, I know that this will be one of the greatest experiences of my life as we take off away from the comforts of home for a couple of months.. (And when I say comforts of home, and for those of you who know my roommates Lynn & Dale, you will understand how I may be a bit hesitant to leave this place). Mom and Dad, I will be back, there's no doubt about it. 

However, when given the opportunity to travel to Europe this summer with Renee... how could I say no! If any of you know the Dagenais', you know that you are guaranteed to have a fabulous time full of contagious positive energy and lots of laughs. 

So here we go.. with a countdown of 25 days till we depart from Vancouver, I figured I should probably start to brainstorm ideas on how to pack light. You'd think after moving back and forth to Victoria for the last 5 years I'd be much better at it.. Wrong! I am what they call, "a girl who doesn't know what to wear, or what we might end up doing, or what the weather will be like." Ill keep you updated on the packing, an adventure in itself. 

Finally, I cannot wait to see something other than Vancouver island (however, a very beautiful place), Mexico (great weather and margaritas) and Ontario (not saying I wouldn't be overly excited to travel there for a couple of months to see my wonderful family). See you soon Europe!
